Future Otters
The Ontario Hockey League Priority Selection, traditionally held annually on the first Saturday in May, helps teams identify and select the future stars of the League. In Erie, the newest members of the team are referred to as Future Otters.

Education
As with all Ontario Hockey League member teams, education plays an important part of the Erie Otters organization. It is our mandate not only to help develop young men into the best hockey player possible but also to prepare him for life after hockey, whether that be upon completion of his junior eligibility or at the conclusion of a professional hockey career.
Facilities
The Otters play their home games at the Tullio Arena. The multi-purpose facility is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including medical and weight rooms as well as video assessment and training areas.
