The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League are seeking applications for the vacant Equipment Manager position.
Responsibilities include handling the ordering and sizing of equipment for each player; sharpening skates; laundering of all uniforms, towels and equipment; maintaining the locker room facility; and packing uniforms and supplies for road trips while making sure that the bus is fully stocked.
Applicants should have two years of experience sharpening skates, be a team player who understands the non-traditional hours of working in hockey while being able to travel on all road trips with the team, and must be able to meet the needs of young athletes (ages 16-21) while fostering a positive work relationship.
