The Erie Otters of the Ontario Hockey League today announced their preseason schedule.

The Otters will play in four exhibition games, all away from Erie as Erie Insurance Arena continues to be renovated during the offseason. The Niagara IceDogs will play the Otters on August 31 at a site to be determined.

The Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League will face off against the Otters in Flamborough, Ont. on September 1. It marks the first time in over a decade that the Otters will play a team from the QMJHL in exhibition play.

September 6 in St. Catharines, the Otters will play the IceDogs for a second time in the preseason. The exhibition schedule concludes September 9 in Elmira, Ont. when the Otters will skate against the Owen Sound Attack.

The regular season begins for Erie on the road Thursday, September 20 at 7:00 p.m. against the Niagara IceDogs. Follow the Otters on the bus with our trip to commemorate the start of the season!
